Set-up in 2013, Just Vehicle Solutions is a family run vehicle rental company operating from Newark, Nottingham. Set-up and ran by father and son duo Terry and Jake.
Why did Just Vehicle Solutions join United Rental System?
Originally we joined for the buying discounts on vans but since then United Rental Group have been a great asset and partner for a variety of different reasons, and really turned into contacts that we turn to for advice and industry news & learning.
What’s your vision for the future of the business?
We’d like to run a vehicle fleet of 1,000 vehicles on daily rental, flexi-rent and long-term rental contracts with a known specialism for our favourite VW Transporter products in the midlands.
How many people do you employ?
There are 7 of us in total. Terry and Jake as directors, then we have Rob Nutt as Sales Manager, Andrew Lissett as Rental Manager, Alice Hadfield as Business Management Apprentice, Jacob O’Hara is our Web Designer and Caroline Barthorpe who heads up our internal accounts.

VW Campers!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Playing and watching Football and keeping fit with JVS office Labrador and brand ambassador Ovie!
Any tips for getting into the vehicle hire business?
Find a specialism to an extent, or understand exactly what you do and do not do. Spot hire is very different from lease and visa versa. Know your market and put customers first and hopefully they will repay the favour.
